$5.5 million – Construction Site Injury
March 2021
Traumatic Brain Injury from fall through skylight on construction site: We successfully obtained $5.5 million in settlements on behalf of an injured worker and his wife in a highly contested construction site injury case.
The injured worker was an employee of a subcontractor on a demolition project when he fell through a concealed skylight on the warehouse roof where he was working. The injured worker was not wearing fall protection equipment, and the defendants alleged that he was not properly trained or supervised by his employer. The injured worker suffered a catastrophic brain injury, and his wife had a claim for loss of consortium.
We obtained a traumatic brain injury settlement from the subcontractor who hired our injured worker client's employer, and the lessee of the warehouse.
