$100,000 Combined Policy-Limits Recovery for Auto Accident Client
Greenberg and Ruby Injury Attorneys obtained a combined $100,000 policy-limits recovery for a client who suffered a back injury in an auto accident in San Bernardino County.
We first obtained the $50,000 policy limit from the at-fault driver's insurance coverage.
We then pursued additional compensation through our client's underinsured motorist coverage. That resulted in another $50,000 UIM policy-limits settlement, bringing the client's combined recovery to $100,000.
Pursuing All Available Insurance Coverage
An at-fault driver's insurance policy does not always provide sufficient coverage for someone injured in an accident. When the available liability insurance is inadequate, underinsured motorist coverage can provide an additional source of compensation when applicable.
In this case, Greenberg and Ruby Injury Attorneys pursued both available policies. We recovered the full $50,000 policy limit from the at-fault driver and then recovered the full $50,000 limit available under the UIM policy.
The result was a $100,000 combined recovery, representing the policy limits of both sources of insurance coverage.
Result: $100,000 combined recovery
At-fault driver: $50,000 policy limits
UIM coverage: $50,000 policy limits
Location: San Bernardino County, California
Injury: Back injury
