Michael Petruzziello

Michael Petruzziello brings over 16 years of legal experience and a wealth of trial practice, selecting over thirty juries. He embodies a deep commitment to justice and the pursuit of rights for his clients, evident since his early legal journey.

Michael's dedication to law began in the 10th grade when he won a Mock U.S. Supreme Court Competition, arguing before local New York judges. He continued winning debate competitions into college. During his undergraduate years, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2004. Influenced by mentors who recognized his potential, he pursued a Juris Doctorate from Touro Law Center in 2007.

His passion for ethics and jurisprudence led him to delve into criminal law, spending eight years as a public defender in his community, specializing in vehicular homicides. Notably, he was appointed the first attorney under 30 to be named Felony Trial Attorney by the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County. While there, he regularly authored motions now used as a standard template for Suffolk County's Legal Aid Society, and gained a reputation as a fearsome trial attorney.

Since relocating to California in 2020, Michael has continued his zealous advocacy, bringing his extensive trial experience to fight for his clients' rights and recovery. He is an active member of the Federal Bar of California's Central District, licensed to practice in California and New York state courts, and a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA).

Beyond his legal endeavors, Michael finds joy in spending time with his wife, engaging in outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and attempting to surf. A supporter of the Lakers, he passionately cheers on the NBA team.
