After earning her Juris Doctor and being admitted to the California State Bar, Melissa dedicated more than a decade to public service. She served as a prosecutor with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, the Yolo County District Attorney's Office, and the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, where she handled complex criminal matters and developed extensive courtroom experience.
